My story
Victor Habes (*1999) is a German media designer for film and sound, music producer, sound engineer, videographer, and photographer based in Berlin. His work lies at the intersection of film, music, and visual design.
Victor was exposed to music and stage work from a young age. As a child, he learned to play the piano and accompanied his father's performances, gaining insights into the world of show business. These early experiences shaped his interest in the connection between music, technology, and staging.
After finishing school, Victor gained practical experience in event technology, worked as a technician for live stream productions, and eventually moved from Mainz to Berlin to further develop his career in the media industry. In the capital, he worked as a sound and video technician on major television productions, including formats such as the Bambi Awards, Late Night Berlin, The Voice of Germany and many more.
His particular passion is film music. This also led him to the Babelsberg Film Orchestra, where he worked as a recording assistant on various productions, including the film "Manitou's Canoe" (2025) – one of the most successful German films of the year.
Alongside his practical work, Victor is currently expanding his skills through studies at HOFA College, specializing in music production, mixing, mastering and film sound.
In addition to his work in television and film production, he regularly works on independent short film projects as a set sound engineer, boom operator, sound designer, and composer. He also realizes his own visual projects in the fields of videography and photography.
Musically, Victor moves across a broad spectrum of genres – from film scores and neoclassical compositions to alternative, pop, rock, and electronic music. His work combines technical expertise with a strong narrative approach and the ambition to forge sound and image into a unified artistic language.
